Sarah Jones – Owner of Nerdy Bird Tutoring

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Witwatersrand majoring in Philosophy and Psychology. My majors reflect my passion for human emotion and wellbeing as well as for critical thinking and reasoning. The latter are skills that I believe are crucial for every student. My familiarity with abstract reasoning has given me the ability to take complex, abstract concepts and communicate them in clear and simple ways. I love being able to help make concepts accessible and tangible for people. Enabling people to gain knowledge, think critically, and develop skills toward independent learning are all processes that I care deeply about. I enjoy working with people and am privileged to have the opportunity to invest my life in something that matters.
